Number of Quality of Life Grants Awarded since 2022
The Power of Will was established in honor of Will Hudson to support and enhance the lives of sarcoma patients and their loved ones. Will was diagnosed with osteosarcoma at the age of twenty and assumed an active role in his treatment plan. Like many adolescent and young adult cancer patients, Will’s quality of life was extremely important to him. Will worked closely with his oncology team to discuss what quality of life meant to him as a sarcoma patient in and out of treatment. Will enjoyed going to the movies and dining out with family and friends, but his diagnosis did not pause the many expenses that come along with adulthood. Will received support from several foundations that helped him to continue doing the things he liked to do, such as planning a fun date night, as well as the things he had to do, like filling up his gas tank or paying an unexpected medical bill.
The Power of Will is dedicated to providing financial assistance to patients like Will so that they can achieve their own quality of life goals.
The Power of Will awards up to 10 quarterly Quality of Life Grants up to $500.
